Verbal job offer

I have been offer a job verbally but because he is busy I decided to email him but I do not know how to email him what to write.

Response from Carl: Thanks Vanessa. If I were you, I'd want to know when I'm getting the written job offer. Unless things are done differently in Singapore from other countries I'm aware of, job offers might first come in verbal form but typically there is a written part too that you need to sign and that the employer will sign too. I'd call and ask when they are planning on sending you the written job offer.

Perhaps they want you to verbally commit to taking the job first and then they'll give you the written offer. This happens frequently too ie. the company doesn't want to take the time to print out the job offer in writing and then have you turn it down. Perhaps they want you to verbally agree to the job first and then they'll send the written offer. I'd check with them to be sure.
