Supplier Development Manager
Response from Carl: Instead of mentioning "experienced" you should consider (where appropriate) to actually include the exact number of years of experience you have in the field. When I say "when appropriate" I mean that if a job requires 10-15 experience and you have this range of experience, tell them what you have 12 years or whatever the number is. Obviously if you have more or less than this range but are still interested in the job, perhaps you don't mention the exact number of years of experience so you don't rule yourself out of consideration. The reason I mention this is that hiring managers usually look for specifics and if they don't see them, they might rule you out immediately. When you have exactly what they are asking for, let them know about it so there are no questions of your suitability for the job. Carl |
