Response from Carl: Thanks Prashant. What sort of language(s) do you program with? Do you work on UNIX, Windows, etc? Do you work on front end, middleware, or backend systems?

Coming from an IT recruitment background myself, I always liked to know this up front without having to hunt for it in your resume and I suspect hiring managers would want the same.

Remember that with the Career Objective, you're attempting to show the reader what's in it for them ie. why should they interview you? You haven't really done this instead focusing on what you're looking for ie. "professional growth."
