Response from Carl: Thanks Tara. Perhaps you could add your years of experience when appropriate (when you're applying to a position that requires a similar level of experience that you have).

I'd also replace the very last sentence ("Interested in a challenging technical track career in an application development environment.") and instead add something that alludes to an accomplishment or achievement that you were responsible for that relates to whichever job you're applying for. Hiring managers are looking for reasons to interview you so you need to give that to them.
