An expert senior software developer who loves to work in a constantly changing environment. Looking forward to secure a challenging job as a senior developer which pushes me out of my comfort zone and gives me new responsibilities. In addition to utilizing my Java/J2EE knowledge of four years, I am looking forward to a company which can utilize my knowledge in other open source languages such as Scala, PHP and Ruby on Rails.

Response from Carl: Thanks TG. You've written your Career Objective with a very personal tone which I personally have no problem with.

I like how you mention your technical skills but I'd be careful about mentioning your desire to work on technologies that a particular job you're applying for might not actually include. What I'm saying is make sure you tailor your Career Objective for each job so that you don't mention (for example) your desire to work with open source languages if the job you're applying for doesn't actually use these languages.
