Retired Teacher with a Masters in Counseling and over 20+ years of experience in Education seeks an entry level career as a Receptionist, where I will utilize my years of experience, education, skills, and dedication into a well established organization as well as grow within the business.

When you start interviewing, I'd ensure you're ready to tell the interviewer why you're making the career transition and why they shouldn't be afraid to hire you. When it comes to people who have retired from one position or are going into something completely different, hiring managers often get their blinders on and look unfavorably on people whose background is a bit out of the ordinary or different from what they're used to seeing.

With your sort of background, experience, and education, perhaps office management or HR-type roles might be suitable too, assuming you're interested of course.
