A Mechanical Engineer with post graduation in Marketing and having vast experience in oil and gas industry in various capacities is seeking employment in a reputed company where the planning department is considered fundamental to any successful project management.

Response from Carl: Thanks Vinod. Do you also hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering? I suspect you do and if so, I'd mention it along with your marketing degree.

I'd add some specifics in regarding the number of years of experience you have when applicable (ie. when you apply to a job that requires a similar amount of experience) just so the reader isn't guessing how much experience you have.
