Response from Carl: Thanks Dhrumil. To get the internship you're looking for, I'd add some details in your Career Objective that specify what skills (and experience if any) you have that would cause a hiring manager reading your resume to want to interview you.

I'd get rid of the "career advancement" comment since your Career Objective should describe what you offer the hiring manager and not what you're looking for.
