Online Universities

Hello,

I would like to know if you could suggest a couple of legitimate universities offering masters courses online.

A lot of schools claim to offer valid courses over the internet - but they are only interested in taking your hard earned money.

I would welcome any information offered in this regard.

Response from Carl: Good question! I've heard of some online colleges that were shut down due to them offering fake degrees so you have to keep your eyes open for fraudsters.

The first thing I'd do is to check actual universities in your area who happen to offer online or remote classes. Some might also offer long distance learning where you attend local classes that are held by a university that is located hours away.

Short of that, you might actually contact local universities in your area and see if they can refer you to a specific institution that offers the type of program you're considering. You might find that your local universities have affiliations with some online schools that they have verified to be reputable.
