Response from Carl: Thanks Jeffrey. I think you need some specifics here. If you're going to discuss your "extensive experience" why not tell us how much? Is it 8 years or 18 years?

When you mention that you've demonstrated how to reduce costs, why not give us an example of how much or a percentage of costs that you've been responsible for reducing?

You also refer to being a team leader so I'd suggest telling the reader how many staff you've typically led.

When you think about it, you could easily summarize the above-mentioned three points - your years of experience, cost reduction experience and team lead experience - in one sentence which might make a great opening statement about you.
