How To Learn A New LanguageWould you like to learn a new language? Some jobs require people to know how to speak more than one language and being multi lingual can sometimes open new doors for you that might otherwise be unavailable to you. I can think of some companies (and jobs) that required people to know a specific second language. I can also think of a few instances where the company simply wanted the person they ultimately hired to know any second language. I've worked on filling a number of jobs in sales, customer support and technical support that required a second language. As you move up the ladder into more senior positions - especially if you work for a global company - you might find that speaking a second language can help you gain access to international postings that unilingual candidates don't have access to. Even if you're not specifically looking to learn a new language to help your career, it can benefit you in other ways and expose to you a new learning experience. Here are some options for learning how to speak a new language from some of the top-selling programs on the Internet. Click Here To Learn French! |
