Is this favouritism?

I'm 18 and have been working in a fast food restaurant for 2 years. I have always gotten along with my boss and fellow team members. I'm not a perfect employee but I work extremely hard. I have recently had a few incidents with the management as one injured my nephew on purpose. While said manager kept his job and same hrs, mine were cut from 35 to 25 due to me "slacking off and forcing other team members to do my job". After that happened I continued to work the same way I always had but making a conscious change to being more alert to who I ask to do what. From the time my hrs got cut, they have been going down further every week for no apparent reason. My store manager also employed her daughter in law and best friend. She has given all the hrs she cut from me to her daughter in law and gave a management position to her best friend after 2 weeks of working there. Her best friends daughter also works there and has said on numerous occasions that she doesn't have to do as much work as the rest of us because "her mum is friends with the boss". The manager who injured my nephew is also in a relationship with our second in charge manager. While all this is going on, I've become sick and have called in sick 4 times in the past week. Before that, I had worked 5 days a week 5 -8 hrs a day for 6 straight months. I feel I am being victimised for standing up to the favouritism in my workplace.

Response from Carl: Based on what you mention it certainly sounds like something is up and unfairness is going on. What can you do about it though? I'm not sure based on what you mention above since there seems to be favoritism and nepotism going on.

Since you're a young guy, I guess the question I'd have it "how important is this job to you" and is it worth fighting for or would you be better suited finding a work environment with more professional people and perhaps one that you could see yourself staying in for the long term?
