Internal Candidate

Hi

I was recently put on probation with a horrible woman boss who I just started working for 1 yr ago. She is mean and works 3 hrs/day. I seem to work 16 hours/day.

Anyway she put me on "probation" - I can't even find words - I have been there 23 years all together.

My question is, I found another job within the company; however, now HR tells me I might not be able to transfer - the VP wants me. What to do?

Response from Carl: I think from what you've written that the VP wants to bring you into the new department so if that's the case, you should try to get them to help you do so. Get them on your side and tell them you need their support to switch departments if you're having trouble.
