Seeking a senior database administrator position with a progressive organization which would leverage my in depth hands on 12 years database management knowledge and proven problem solving skills.

Response from Carl: Thanks Neal. I'd be interested to know what database(s) you specialize in since I'd otherwise have to read your resume and try to find the answer so I might as well read it right away in your Career Objective. I always like to see "senior Oracle DBA" or "Sybase DBA" or whatever it happens to be.

If you have happen to have any other specific nice-to-have skills like failover, HA, production environment experience and things like that, I recall that in IT recruitment, many employers do often look for things like this when hiring a DBA and having these or other skills can often pique their interest and separate you from other people applying for the same job.
