Suppose one qualifies for the job but is a stammerer (has problems in communication). How would the interviewers rate him putting in mind that this is a natural problem that one cannot change?

Response from Carl: Thanks Judy. It's hard to say how each hiring manager would react and it would depend on the job too. In some cases it might be a deal breaker and they might choose not to hire the person. In other cases, perhaps the person is able to work around the issue or at least decrease the incidents of the stammering.

As we spoke about by email, perhaps there are ways to decrease your stammering. From what I've read there are ways to help it including support groups, associations and other groups that focus on people who stutter or stammer and are there to help them.
