I am looking for a new job challenge, as a Graphic Designer, for a page layout and production position with an organization that encourages professional growth. I am confident I can bring to the table a package of skills, experience and abilities that will prove to be an invaluable resource to any design-related business.

Response from Carl: Thanks Rachel. I'd try to make what you've written a bit more formal and less about using "I" and personal pronouns like that as it tends to make what you've written sound like you talking about what you want, when you really want your Career Objective to show the reader what you offer them.

Perhaps you could also add in your years of experience and mention some of the graphic programs and/or specific expertise that you have just to show the reader where your main skills lie. Based on what you've written the reader doesn't know anything about your existing graphics design experience.
