find your dream career

Freight agent/broker intern

by Curtis A. Tucker
(Covington Ga. USA)

My objectives: Continue my education & gain my real estate license & freight brokers license in order to implement my eleven years logistics route mgr., inventory control, warehouse distribution, & tractor trailer experience with a stable company that allows me the ability to demonstrate safety & expert skills which encourages teamwork, productivity, & worthy advancement opportunities.

Response from Carl: Thanks Curtis. When I read this, to me it reads more like a personal profile than what I'd typically see as a Career Objective. It seems that you're sort of combining two jobs here - freight agent and real estate agent or broker - as you refer to continuing your education. If I was reading this and thinking about hiring you, I guess I'd be unsure as to which job you were actually planning on pursuing.

I'd get rid of the short forms that you use like "mgr" for manager and the use of "&" rather than spelling out the word "and" as it reads more informally than it should.
