Executive MBA

I want to know if the executive MBA will be beneficial for me? I'm currently working in reliance as a senior executive in the IT department. I want to know which MBA will be good for me.

Response from Carl: Thanks Ravish. At the end of the day any education you pursue will obviously be your choice and your decision. I don't know enough about you to tell you that I know what is best for you but in general terms the Executive MBA tends to attract experienced professionals who want to complete an MBA while still working. This is as opposed to the traditional full-time MBA that often involves the person quitting their job and going to school full-time.

There are many choices for Executive MBAs around the world with different timeframes to complete the designation and obviously many courses or streams you could pursue so again, you're the only person who can decide if it's right for you and whether or not you can afford to spend the money and time involved.

Think about what you want to accomplish in your career and decide whether or not the Executive MBA gets you closer to it. Speak with people who are currently completing an Executive MBA or who have already completed it to learn about their experience with it, how it benefited them and the time and effort they had to commit in order to successfully complete it. Hopefully this will at least help to shed light on what you'd be getting yourself into and get you closer to deciding if it's for you.
