Donor relations officer-special events at a childrens hospital

Response from Carl: Thanks for the submission, Amy. The only thing I can think of is that in your Job Title you mention a "donor relations" type position but don't make references to this aspect in the Career Objective itself. If you are applying for a position involving getting people to donate that might require you to get on the phone or visit people in person to convince them that a donation is something they should consider, perhaps you have existing experience in donor relations that you could briefly allude to in your Career Objective. Just a thought.

On a personal note I've recently been spending a lot of time at the hospital myself for my dad who is ill and also with my wife who is pregnant so I can give you two different perspectives about hospital visits. I suspect the type of position you're looking for will bring you many great memories and give you a good personal feeling of satisfaction, too. Good luck in that regard.
