I am a dependable, experienced dental hygienist seeking a position in a team-oriented, steady-paced dental practice where the patient's needs are put first.

Response from Carl: Thanks Mary. If I was a dentist, I think I'd want to know a few things about you, things that I'm sure you could add into your Career Objective like:

-what sort of dental hygienist education you have. From what I understand, you could have an associate degree, bachelor's or Masters so I'd want to know up front what you have. Maybe you have a more specialized level of education that you could refer to?

-your level of experience ie. how many years of experience do you have?

-the type of dental office(s) you've worked in ie. have you worked in particularly busy environments, ones that cater to children, etc?

Again, this is just me talking and I'm not a dentist but I'd think adding in this sort of experience (among other experience) would help your cause and possibly separate you from others applying for the same jobs you are?
