cousins

(compton,ca)

When the supervisor and one of the staff are cousins and you think that the supervisor is showing favoritism because the cousins has better hours than you, does it matter if she has been there longer than me.

Response from Carl: At the end of the day, you hope that your skills and experience count rather than who you're related to. I've worked for family-run companies and often depending on the owner, the favoritism might be something that you either accept or not accept in which case you might look for another job. In some cases you need to ask if the job is really worth staying for.
