Career objective for resumes on job boards

The website offers a great deal of valuable information but it does not seem to address the modern era of uploading resumes onto websites such as Monster or CareerBuilder, etc. What type of career objective do you suggest a person should use when submitting to a widely focused site such as those?

Response from Carl: Thanks Russ. I don't spend a lot of time talking about the job boards because I think while they have a place in your job search, I wouldn't make it a major part of it. Plus, your Career Objective doesn't change because you're applying to a job through a job board.

From your question, I'm guessing you're wondering what to put for your Career Objective when you're posting your resume on a job board and not applying for a specific job. In that regard, use the same one you'd use for a job you've applied to recently except of course you wouldn't mention a specific company name in it. I'd still focus it on the type of job you're looking for and of course, make sure you word it in a way that focuses on what you offer the employer since the main goal of the Career Objective is to help get you an interview.
