I have experiened this also, and I can tell you it is making me a little crazy. I am very reliable and dependable, and there is no justifiction for it,it is wrong, and unless it is exposed not matter the cost it will not stop. To the person who says maybe its because they are taking care of the long term people? That is not true, I am one of the people who isnt going anywhere and, others who probably will are benefiting from this favortism. There is no excuse for it, and I am working on collecting enough evidence to get this manager fired, thats how bad it is.I hope this helps and good luck, remember you must speak up, and not let it continue, I know that from experience.

am sorry for what you are going through.we are in the world of psycopaths and their happiness is seeing others suffer.pray for God's favour and at the same time start looking for a job.

I am a server in a restaurant too, and the same exact thing happens. All the favorites kiss ass that's why they get the tables. Also they are rude and mean to fellow co workers and nothing is being done about it.I don't ever complain because i don't want to get fired. These people are idiots. They are mean when the bosses aren't around,but then suddenly change their tune when management appears. I have seen people get fired for complaining so i don't dare but it's unfair and immature. I like my job other than that,and would like to make a career out of it,but the work environment is so hostile,and i don't know what to do.
