Airline customer service profession

by Varun Kumar
(Delhi)

I am willing to give the total support to the organization, with the experience that I have in order to achieve organizational goals and create mutual benefits. I am capable of influencing, directing and guiding others in such a way as to obtain their willing obedience, confidence, respect and loyal cooperation in accomplishment of and objective.

Response from Carl: Thanks Varun. You mention "Airline customer service profession" in your Job Title but if you read your Career Objective, I don't see anything related to the airline industry. When you think about it, you could apply to pretty much any job with what you've written because you don't offer anything specific related to the airline industry.

People tend to write their Career Objective (and resume as a whole) without use of personal pronouns like "I" and "me" but bigger issue with what you've written in my opinion is that you've tended to write in terms of things that you could potentially do ie. statements like "I am willing to give..." and "I am capable of..."

The hiring manager of course wants to know what you can and will do for them, not about your potential. I'd try to focus on spelling out specific accomplishments that you've already achieved in your career to give the reader an indication of what you will do for them, too.
